Good day sunshine! The City of DC salary list

With the start of summer, comes the so-called “sunshine list” of the previous year — the list of City salaries for earners above $75,000.

Each year, the City of Dawson Creek releases a statement of financial information for the previous year, which includes the remuneration and expenses of both council and earners over $75,000, as well as the total amount the City pays out in wages.

In total, the City spent $11,822,290.90 on remuneration. City employees and elected officials claimed $219,412.18 in expenses. Adding in benefits and library employees — who earned $379,306.52 — the total comes to $14,414,884.00.

Former Director of Infrastructure Shawn Dahlen and former CFO Shelly Woolf top the sunshine list from administration, while CAO Duncan Redfearn, who started in the position at the beginning of 2017 came in third.
