Four positive COVID-19 cases in Northern Health

There are 231 positive COVID-19 people in BC – four of them are in the Northern Health region.

“We are doing more work, and more is necessary,” said Health Minister Adrian Dix.

“This is a challenging time. Take care of communities, and families to protect us for next few weeks,” said Dr. Bonnie Henry, provincial health officer

“Social distancing is an important part or staying home when you are sick.”

Henry noted that employers should not need a doctor’s note as it relates to staying home with COVID-19.

Dix noted 1087 calls to the COVID-19 line Tuesday, and more than 1 million users on the provincial COVID-19 portal.

“Every one of us is important.”
