Dr. Henry: 100 days since first BC statement on COVID-19

British Columbia's provincial officer of health Dr. Bonnie Henry says 100 days have passed since the province of British Columbia put out its first provincial statement regarding COVID-19.

"We have all watched as the pandemic spread. Our lives, business, and communities have dramatically changed," she said about a strong firewall.

"We need to do everything we can to protect seniors and families in BC." 

Next week, Henry expects to update modelling. 

"It will help us move forward, and the Premier will be speaking on our go forward plan," she said. 

On Thursday, Henry announced 25 new cases for the province -- taking the provincial total to 2112 cases.

Fraser Health - 961

Vancouver Island - 120

Interior Heath - 170
