Dober takes DC by-election

Darcy Dober is the new councillor for the City of Dawson Creek.

Dober picked 559 votes to Mike Sudnik’s 466 to win the Saturday by-election. Dennis Kesterke picked up 105 votes, while Tyrel Supernault garnered 86.

After the win, Dober said he was looking forward to the next challenge.

“I am so grateful and humbled by the opportunity to be Dawson's newest City councilor,” he said.

“I want to congratulate my running mates, it was some tough competition,” he added on social media after the win.
