DC Rotarians note the Dawson Creek Trail needs some TLC, and want to help

Joe Judge and a host of Rotarians attended city hall Monday to note the dangerous hazard that the asphalt path known as the DC Trail, has become.

“It is a bit of an issue,” Judge noted.

Mayor Dale Bumstead noted that the path was not part of the five year capital discussions. Councillor Paul Gevatkoff noted the path would have to be brought up to city standards.

City CAO Duncan Redfearn noted while paving was slated throughout Mile Zero over the next five years, this project is not on the list.

“There are certainly opportunities to partner,” added Redfearn.
