DC has some of the cheapest gas prices in BC

One of the more painful things about owning a vehicle is the always rising price of gas. But in Dawson Creek, it’s one of the least painful places to fill up.

With gas that can be regularly found for 128.9 per litre in DC, only Williams Lake has consistently cheaper prices in BC, according to gasbuddy.com (126.9). While you can find gas for 127.9 in Abbotsford, it’s only at Costco, which requires a membership.

Traditional wisdom has been to travel over the Alberta for a cheaper fill up, but you’re unlikely to find a cheaper price.

In Grande Prairie, most gas stations are at 131.9 or above. You can find one station at 127.9, but again, it’s Costco. In Hythe, the price is 137.9, and in Beaverlodge it’s on or over 138.9.

Prices as of Tuesday.
