DC Festival of Trees is back again

For the third year in a row, the Dawson Creek Festival of Trees ramps up - this year at the Dawson Creek Art Gallery on November 23.

“Last year we raised just over $28,000 - bringing our two year total to nearly $60,000,” says organizer Janine Cumberland.

The event is again looking for support and sponsorship in the for of tree, wreath or decoration donations.

Trees and wreaths, each usually decked out in a unique theme are auctioned off at a gala event on November 23.

“Last year was a family friendly event with time for kids to meet Santa and his elves once again - from noon to 2pm."
