Dawson Creek kidnapping

Four people face a handful of weapons charges after officers conducted investigations at an undisclosed motel.

RCMP say last Thursday morning officers located weapons, illicit drugs, and more with three taken into custody, before discovering personal belongings for a fourth individual. While officers were on scene at the motel, a man reported to the RCMP he had been kidnapped in Dawson Creek, then forcibly confined at a residence in Taylor, BC.

An additional search warrant was obtained and executed on a residence in Taylor with the assistance of the Fort St. John RCMP Police Dog Services.

A fourth suspect was taken into police custody and two more firearms were seized. A total of 24 provincial charges have been laid against Christopher Munch, Gavin Davis, Natasha Ray, and Theodore Capot-Blanc.

Charges against the four include kidnapping with a prohibited firearm, forcible confinement, and various other firearm offences, CDSA (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act) offences, and breach of conditions charges.
