Dawson Creek Fire responds to mobile home fire

A quick response by crews from the Dawson Creek Fire Department allowed firefighters to contain a fire at the Mile Zero trailer park this weekend. 

The fire resulted in heavy smoke damage to the mobile home.

"It appears the home was vacant at the time of the fire with the potential of squatters occasionally occupying the site," noted officials this morning.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by Dawson Creek Fire staff and RCMP.
