Sentences and fines from Fort St. John and Dawson Creek provincial courts Oct. 5 to 9, 2020:

Fort St. John

• Paul Andrew Zinck (born 1967) was sentenced to 374 days jail with three years probation, issued a 10-year mandatory firearms ban, and order to submit a DNA sample for aggravated assault, committed in Fort St. John in May 2019.

• Kirby Leslie Field (born 1980) was given a suspended sentence with one year probation for assault, committed in Halfway River in October 2017.

• Rita Fox (born 1972) was granted a conditional discharge with one year probation for assault, committed in Halfway River in May 2019.

• Tammy Georgina Rain (born 1970) was given a suspended sentence with one year probation for assault, committed in Fort St. John in November 2018. Rain was given a suspended sentence with one year probation for theft under $5,000, committed in Fort St. John in February 2019. Rain was given a suspended sentence with one year probation for uttering threats, committed in Fort St. John in July 2019.

• Barbara Jean Eva Paquette (born 1973) was given a suspended sentence with 18 months probation for theft under $5,000, committed in Fort St. John in June 2018. Paquette was given a suspended sentence with 18 months probation for three counts of theft under $5,000, also committed in Fort St. John in June 2018. Paquette was given a suspended sentence with 18 months probation for three counts of theft under $5,000, also committed in Fort St. John in June 2018.

• Philip Clayton Testawitch (born 1988) was sentenced to zero days with one year probation for theft under $5,000, committed in Fort St. John in June 2020. Testawitch was sentenced to zero days with one year probation for theft under $5,000, committed in Fort St. John in July 2020. Testawitch was sentenced to zero days with one year probation for theft under $5,000, committed in Fort St. John in June 2020. Testawitch was sentenced to zero days with one year probation for theft under $5,000 and received the same for a charge of assault, both committed in Fort St. John in July 2020. Testawitch was sentenced to zero days with one year probation for two counts of theft under $5,000, and received the same for possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, all committed in Kamloops in March and April 2020.

• Bradley Supernant (born 1991) was given a suspended sentence with 12 months probation for mischief under $5,000, committed in Fort St. John in August 2018.

• Sylvester Herbie Apsassin (born 1992) was given a suspended sentence with six months probation for mischief destroying or damaging property, committed in Fort St. John in June 2019.

• Jeanine Jacqueline Joe (born 1981) was issued a one-year $500 recognizance after allegation of causing fear of injury or damage, committed in Fort St. John in August 2019. Joe was fined $500 and issued a one-year criminal driving ban for driving while disqualified, committed in Fort St. John in May 2020.

• Christopher Richard Orford (born 1998) was fined $1,200, issued a one-year criminal driving ban, and ordered to pay a $360 victim surcharge for impaired driving, committed in Fort St. John in April 2020.

• Mikhail Tchirkov (born 1986) was issued a one-year $500 recognizance after allegation of causing fear of injury or damage to property, committed in Fort St. John in January 2020.

• Randolph Thomas Lamont Desjarlais (born 1976) was issued a one-year $500 recognizance after allegation of causing fear of injury or damage, committed in Charlie Lake in June 2019.

Dawson Creek

• Jessie Romeo Fougere (born 1994) was sentenced to 120 days jail with 24 months probation, issued a 10-year mandatory firearms ban, and ordered to submit a DNA sample for manslaughter, committed in Pouce Coupe in December 2017. Fougere was credited 780 days for presentence custody.

• Tre Robert Alexander Rhiness (born 1996) was sentenced to time served for possessing and using a stolen credit card, committed in Pouce Coupe in July 2020.

• Timothy Guy (born 1985) was sentenced to nine months probation on each of four counts of breaching a release order, committed in Dawson Creek in February 2020, March 2020, August 2020, and September 2020.
