Business to business expo in Mile Zero today

If you are looking to fire up your business with some hot ideas and connect with other owners, the third annual B2B business expo will certainly be your jam.

Started more than two years ago with the idea of reconnecting South Peace business owners and operators with one another to examine potential new opportunities that may be available by networking at a local level.

“We also look to provide the opportunity for business operators to share their current business offerings,” says Sue Kenny with Community Futures Peace Liard.

Kenny says the day is slated with some huge speakers.

“Andre Chevigny of Pioneer Log Homes and co-star of the program Timber Kings will be our keynote speaker.”

The day will begin with greetings and welcome remarks, before launching into a day of session work with business and development front and centre.

Keynote speaker Azadeh Yaraghi will speak at 9 am while Paul Wiest and Robert Gaudet will talk about unleashing the awesome power of collaboration at 11.

Wiest, President of CornerStone Consulting, returns to the B2B Expo as a facilitator and speaker. In 2017, Paul engaged the attendees with a highly interactive session illustrating the fundamentals for building high performance networks in the world of business. Lunch will be followed by a State of the Economy keynote address by Helmut Pastrick of the Central Credit Union.

Pastrick leads the Economics department responsible for providing economic, housing, credit union financial analysis and forecasts to member credit unions. Helmut is frequently called upon by the media to provide comments on economic news and is an  ‘in demand’ speaker by many organizations and groups.

A mayor and regional directors panel will take the stage at 1:30, while Wiest and Gaudet bring part II of their collaboration presentation at 2:15pm. Andre Chevigny talks about Following your Passion at 3:45pm before a networking social wraps the day at 4:45pm.
