Be a tourist in your own town, says Tourism Dawson Creek

Tourism Week runs May 24 to 30.

It is Dawson Creek, tourism week. The week is an annual celebration of Canada’s tourism industry, workers, and captivating attractions that welcome visitors from home and abroad.

This year, the tourism scene looks very different than most years.

“Our best promoters are our local citizens” stated, Barry Reynard, Assistant General Manager, Tourism Dawson Creek. 

“We are excited to roll out a number of things throughout the week and coming weeks that helps to share the positive message of our great community."

Tourism Week in Dawson Creek presents a weeklong Roam from Home / Scavenger Hunt, as well as a pizza slice party on May 30 at Boston Pizza.

 Effective May 24-31, register a team name with jamee@tourismdawsoncreek.com and visit Tourism Dawson Creek Facebook for details *visit as many of the iconic locations, collect list items and tag Tourism Dawson Creek Facebook or Instagram to qualify for the Tourism Dawson Creek Swag prize bag.

Attend the Pizza Slice party on Saturday, May 30 afternoon from 1:00-2:30pm. Both the first and 30th vehicle to go thru “Drive thru” win door prize.

Tourism Dawson Creek is also promoting Porch Stories:  A collection of local people sharing what they love about Dawson Creek.
