Christmas concert at Grace
The Grace Lutheran Church hosts a community Christmas concert Sat. Nov. 30 at 7pm.
Kettle volunteers are needed
Tis the season to be ringing! Christmas greetings come once again from the Salvation Army as the orgnaization puts the all out for kettle bell volunteers.
“We are looking for volunteers to give their time for our campaign,” noted Sally Ann representatives.
The campaign kicks off Nov. 22 and rings until Dec. 21. Let Major Deris Fillier know at 250-782-8669. Shifts at various locations around town.
Activities for little elves
Looking for little elves! December 21 sees O’Brien School hosting a craft session for the little ones 0 to 11.
Pre-registration is required and those under 5 must be accompanied by an adult.
Craft sale day
The fourth annual craft fair pops up at the DC Mall on December 14 and 15 of 2019. For more information, call 250-806-0134.
Carol sing-along & Christmas Story
Get together with others to join in the Christmas spirit! Sing carols and listen to the Christmas Story on Sunday, December 1, at 7 pm.
The event will be hosted by several denominations and held at St. James Presbyterian Church, 1501-108 Ave. Stop by for some refreshments and fun!
97 Riders X-mas dinner
The 97 Riders Motorcycle Association are excited to host a free Christmas dinner for those deserving less fortunate.
They would like to invite you to St. Marks Anglican Church downtown Dawson Creek (1029-103 Avenue) on Dec 7, 2019 between 3:00pm and 6:30pm for a wonderful meal and an opportunity to socialize with our community. The 97 Riders have been raising funds for community events such as this for many years and are grateful for the support that comes from local businesses and other community members.
