Kettle volunteers needed

Tis the season to be ringing! Christmas greetings come once again from the Salvation Army as the orgnaization puts the  all out for kettle bell volunteers.

“We are looking for volunteers to give their time for our campaign,” noted Sally Ann representatives.

The campaign kicks off Nov. 22 and rings until Dec. 21. Let Major Deris Fillier know at 250-782-8669. Shifts at various locations around town.

 

BC SPCA Holiday Expo

The Events Centre will play host to the November 23 and 24 BC SPCA Holiday Expo. The event is expected to run all day.

 

Craft sale day

The fourth annual craft fair pops up at the DC Mall on December 14 and 15 of 2019. For more information, call 250-806-0134.

 

Good food box program

For 240 you can provide fresh produce to a Mile Zero family for a year.

The Dawson Creek Co-op and Networks Ministeries offers their Give the Good program once again for families in need, and those that are looking to help out. Networks is open 10 through 2:30 Tuesday to Thursday. 250-784-016 gets you more information.

 

Christmas hamper and toy registration

If you are looking to sign up for a Christmas hamper and children’s toys, the Salvation has a handful of days from 10 to 3pm to amble in a sign up. Nov. 14, 19, and 21 are the days, please bring your ID, proof of address and proof of income and shelter expenses. For more information please call 250-782-8669.
