"About the four of us and our journey from the darkest places to a lighter place,” Myers said when describing the new album.

Next on the agenda for Shinedown after the tour will be some weeks off and a tour through Europe. 2020 will be some writing time for the band.

Myers has some advice for a song writer - keep an open mind.

"Write as much as you can and it’s important to finish writing the song even if you don’t like it.....be open to all music.”
