Kobo Town wraps up Borderline Culture Series in Demmitt

The last concert of the season for the 10th anniversary season of the Borderline Culture Series goes Saturday, April 13.

The five-piece band, Kobo Town, fronted by émigré Trinidadian songwriter Drew Gonsalves, will close out the season.

The Toronto-based band earned a 2018 Juno award for world music album of the year for their most recent release, “Where the Galleon Sank.”

The group with a calypso-inspired sound is no stranger to the area, having played the 2017 Bear Creek Music Festival.
