If anyone is interested in being in on the ground floor of a new adult-oriented HBO style-like show, readings of the first episode script of ‘City News’ goes at Distict Co. for BC Culture Days on Friday, Sept. 29.
“We’re looking for audience members and/or interested readers, we take all kinds,” says BC Culture Days Ambassador Rob Brown.
The first season of the City News is written, with four more, eight-episode seasons plotted.
“This is a first step in a long journey for these eight scripts, or series if you will, that we'd like to see in production in some format in the future,” says Brown, or co-wrote the series with fellow editor Matt Preprost at the Alaska Highway News.
“This is all about feedback for the work-in-progress series idea more than anything else, so come help us polish these works up, sharpen some dull corners, and have a good time.”
City News, a series of workshop presentation with adult language and themes!
“We hope all residents and their families will take part in the festivities and embrace the different cultural and artistic attributes our community has to offer," says Brown with the Ambassador hat on again.
"There are many events this week for BC Culture Days in Dawson Creek and area. Check them out!"
