Billed as a psychedelic jazz rock act with influences from Pink Floyd and King Crimson, here we go. The music and sound is from the fusing of four uniquely talented Winnipeg-based musicians, Apollo Suns have created a fresh sound that touches on instrumental, rock, jazz, and experimental music.

Apollo Suns began in 2015 by Ed Durocher (guitar) and Dave Guenette’s (bass) with Ethan McKibben (drums) and Chad Braun on keyboards. Little known fact; Phil Collins has played with them live. The trumpet player, not the former lead singer/drummer of Genesis, and writer of Sussudio.  However, percussionist Paul Klassen has been known to accompany their live shows.

Against all odds, the evening should be huge. Apollo Suns are expected to take the stage around 10pm Tuesday.
